Angie Burt – (Embroidery: Calico, Jacobean, Stump, Whitework…)
March 22nd at 21:44
Angie is very popular embroidery tutor from Lancashire – we have had to put on more classes due to high demand! Angie is a versatile traditional embroidery tutor with quite an enviable reputation as a patient, talented and inspiring tutor. Her students rave about her and some return as often as they can afford to! If a student is known to Angie, they can come on any course, whatever the title, and work on their own projects. This approach has been working well, enabling new embroiderers to join classes because there is space, and means Angie is coming now more often to Higham – at least almost once a month.

“Angela is an excellent tutor and I will definitely be back for more of her classes.”
“A very good tutor, fair with giving all her time equally good at demonstrating and explaining.”
“Marvellous clear helpful instructions by super tutor.”
“Tutor super – very informative.”
“I have attended classes at the Royal School of Needlework at Hampton Court Palace and Angela’s tuition was far superior than the RSN. A wonderful experience.” [Editor’s note: This is the opinion of our student, but we were so pleased that someone wrote this, we just had to include it. No offence intended to the RSN, but it is nice to know that our tutor can be thought of so highly.]
“Very good tutor met all expectations on instructions for new and progressed student.”
“Fabulous course, brilliant tutor. Don’t want to go home!”
