FILM APPRECIATION: ENGLAND (SEEN) THROUGH EALING (FILMS)
May 28th at 18:30 to May 30th at 13:30

We’ll look at a range of films from Ealing Studios taking us from the
wartime home front to the spivs and chancers of the post-war era.
Ealing specialised in strong, very British, stories with social and satirical
edge. We will consider these three: Went The Day Well? (1942),
Whisky Galore (1949) and The Ladykillers (1955).
