LEATHER CROSSED STRUCTURE CONSERVATION BOOKBINDING
October 7th at 18:30 to October 10th at 13:30
A technique created by Carmencho Arregui living in Italy, this 20th century design brought a revolutionary renewal of the Long Stitch bindings of the medieval era. It is a non-adhesive binding offering greater freedom to the text block suitable in conservation or travel journals or decorative bindings. Uniquely constructed by interlocking front and back cover at the spine, it allows many possibilities of development and design. Once complete, we can decorate the covers with leather inlays and hot tooling.
