RIGHT AND WRONG IN THE REAL WORLD (ETHICS)

The branch of philosophy that deals with right and wrong is known as ethics. We will examine various ethical theories and apply them to problems of the modern world. Our exploration of ethics will be aided by Aristotle, Plato, Kant as well as modern thinkers, such as Peter Singer. We will apply these theories to a range of issues including animal rights, discrimination and terrorism.
