SHAKESPEARE IN ATHENS: MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM AND TWO NOBLE KINSMEN

September 13th at 18:30 to September 15th at 13:30

Explore unexpected depths in Shakespeare’s early comedy,
Midsummer’s Night’s Dream, with lovers, fairies, amateur actors and
transformations. Compare his final play, the tragi-comedy Two Noble
Kinsmen, co-written with John Fletcher, which also starts with the
wedding of Theseus and Hippolyta and revisits themes of love, rivalry
and madness from across the Bard’s career.
