SHAKESPEARE IN THE GARDEN: THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR

Bring a chair, enjoy Shakespeare comedy in the open air (whatever the summer weather). As good luck would have it, the misadventures of Falstaff – a character who the Bard used no less than 3 times and whose persona has graced many other works since, will divert and delight you.

Open 1.30 pm for picnics.

Synopisis from the Company:

The roguish and foolish Knight, Falstaff, schemes to woo two married women to get his hands on their husbands’ money, but the wiley Wives of Windsor are more than a match for him.

The Festival Players Theatre Company brings you this hilarious and colourful comedy in an all-male, fast paced, costumed production (2 hours + Interval) A summer feast of farce.
