It is time to restore the reputation and career of Cumbrian born Sir Thomas Bouch, a once celebrated Victorian railway engineer. Vilified for his part in the Tay Railway Bridge disaster of 1878, his many works include the Cockermouth, Keswick and Penrith railway.
