THE ANCIENT ROCKS OF LAKELAND

An advanced course for people with some knowledge, or who have already attended our GEOLOGY OF THE LAKES: AN INTRODUCTION course. This course examines the oldest rocks in Lakeland: the early-mid Palaeozoic (Ordovician to Devonian). Includes a field trip out on Sunday – wear appropriate walking boots and clothes!
N.B.: Ends at Tea Break 4pm on the last day.
