W.B. YEATS: THE HIGH-WATER MARK
February 9th at 18:30 to February 11th at 13:30
In 1928, now sixty-two and a senator of the Irish Free State, W.B.Yeats published ‘The Tower’. This is by common consent his greatest collection of poetry, containing some of the finest utterances of the twentieth century. It will be the main focus of the weekend, and we shall relate it to Yeats’s life, his beliefs, his work in the theatre, and the momentous times through which he lived.
