WATERLOO: MOVING ON

Napoleon is dead and Wellington has embarked on his political career. We examine the effects of the Peninsular War and Waterloo during the first half on the 19th century: the evolution of weapons and tactics, the progress of armed forces on land and sea, and the continuing stories of individuals and nations. We also take a look at piracy, and at the seeds of mutiny in India.
