4 WAYS TO CHALLENGE YOURSELF WHEN YOUR PAINTING FEELS STALE
It’s a form of creative block, feeling you’re repeating yourself, feeling unchallenged or unstimulated by what you’re painting. It doesn’t mean you’ve lost your ability nor that you’re never going to produce a fabulous painting ever again. It means you’re ready to grow artistically, to move your artistic goalposts. Medium: Your favoured medium. But use only three colours.
If you are using an opaque medium, white does not count as a colour, so can be used.
My advice is to choose one dark colour as one of your three.
