  • Chairman of Cumbria Butterfly Conservation, Chair of Lancashire Butterfly Conservation, Arnside and Silverdale Nat. Hist. Soc., Programme secretary of Kendal NHSoc.
  • A Trustee of the national body of Butterfly Conservation.
  • Gives numerous power point presentations in Northern England and Scotland and regularly organises and lead both residential and day field trips for butterflies and wildlife.
  • Also happens to be a magician!
