Michael Tunnicliffe (History)

  • Free lance tutor in Adult Education living in Cheshire
  • An experienced Tutor who previously taught on the adult residential circuit at Burton Manor, Wedgwood Memorial College and Alston Hall for many years
  • Teaches for Liverpool University CE and Oxford University (where he leads a Summer School) as well as classes for the WEA
  • Areas of teaching are generally in history, especially ancient history and Jewish and Christian studies
Michael’s specialism in the history of (to coin the contemporary parlance) belief systems brings some meaning and context to Historical studies at Higham. Much of  the past was guided and, indeed, governed by religious beliefs and is makes for continuously fascinating insights.
