Rebecca Halstead (Silver Jewellery)

  • a graduate of Edinburgh College of Art, worked for several years as a designer in the industry and has run her workshop for 30 years continually exhibiting her jewellery in galleries all around the country.
  • worked as a lecturer at Edinburgh College of Art in 3D design for many years, and for the past decade has taught day, evening and weekend jewellery classes for Edinburgh City Council.
  • her work is sold in the craft shop at Blackwell Arts and Crafts house at Bowness-on-Windermere.

Rebecca supplies students with silver and essential materials for the projects on the course, which they pay for separately (around £40).

Experienced Students, if appropriate, please let Rebecca know if you won’t be needing materials.

We welcome Rebecca from the creative hotspot that is Edinburgh. She takes over from her friend and associate Sally Rotarides (aka Sally Moore). As you can see, Rebecca has a wealth of experience to bring to workshops at Higham.
