Richard Moore – (Literary History)

  • P.G.C.E., M.A,  and Doctorate in Victorian Fiction from the Scottish Borders
  • Visiting lecturer at Newcastle University, specialising in the teaching of English Literature, especially Shakespeare, Drama and American Classics
  • Strong further interest in the History of Crime-Writing

We cherish the value that literature can have for our lives – the way it can educate, entertain and excite, especially when it can be appreciated properly guided by an expert who can share a deep affinity to the material, and its creators.

Richard will be taking a sabbatical in 2017 whilst he focuses on curating not one, but 2 literary festivals closer to home. We have already penciled in dates for his return in 2018! (We’re not letting him off that easily!)
