Now retired from his duties of running Dillington, Wayne is now available for us northerners to enjoy! His topics are open to all those interested, whether it be just a passing curiosity, or something deeper. All are welcome!

This course will explore the historic culture - from mysterious prehistoric tribes to the vibrant urban communities of today. We will encounter fine Roman buildings, Islamic palaces and mosques, Visigoth and Romanesque churches, magnificent castles and space-age architecture. And then there is the art, the music and food! THE NORTHERN RENAISSANCE

This course will examine this claim through an examination of the North's architecture, painting and music. Names to recognise - Durer, Hieronymus Bosch, Holbein and Breughel.
