After over 25 years in the educational sector, which included teaching applied linguistics in Italy for 5 years and 16 years as a university lecturer, I decided to pursue a PhD that allowed me to pursue a lifelong interest in medieval manuscripts. My thesis In His Nature To Be So: Holiness In The Life Of Saint Aldhelm In Middle English Versions of Legenda Aurea examined one of the most important medieval manuscripts from a hagiographical perspective, and I look forward to sharing insights from this research with you.
