This course is aimed at beginners and intermediate students. Students should have reasonable manual dexterity, as they will be learning how to use hand tools such as hammers, saws and soldering torches. Anyone who has attended the course before will have the opportunity to improve and expand their silverworking skills. Students will work on three projects (using both silver sheet and wire) – a bracelet, a pendant and some earrings. There is a materials fee of £52 which is payable in cash to the tutor on day one; it includes all silver plus silver solder, copper wire, a small piece of copper sheet for practicing and three sawblades.
