LIS BINNS PATCHWORK: LONE STAR QUILT

In this course we will tackle the Lone Star quilt. This pattern is believed to have originated in England as the Mathematical Star, before it spread to America and was adopted in Texas as Lone Star. It involves a lot of point-matching and dreaded ‘Y- seams’ but you will be given lots of tips and help to avoid the pitfalls involved with these techniques. Not suitable for complete beginners. If you have attended previous classes with Lis and just want to come and quilt with the group, you may bring a project of your own project or choose to do a project offered previously at Higham by this tutor.
