Katie Hale

Katie is an internationally recognised novelist and poet living in the Lake District. She is author of two novels, The Edge of Solitude (2024) and My Name is Monster (2019). In 2021 she won a Northern Debut Award for her first poetry collection, White Ghosts (2023). She is a MacDowell Fellow, and winner of the Gulliver Travel Grant, Palette Poetry Prize, and Northern Writers’ Award.
