The Friends of Higham was established in 1993. Over the years, the Friends have given vital funds to open up areas of the garden, purchase furniture and provided support for bursaries and assisted places.
Now more than ever Higham needs your help to ensure it remains a place of growth, creativity, and connection for generations to come.
Membership of the Friends is through annual or monthly subscriptions which help to sustain Higham year-round. Choose from three levels of support:
Catbells Patron £25 per year
Blencathra Patron £50 per year
Skiddaw Patron £100 per year

All income is directly reinvested in the preservation, upkeep and improvement of Higham; in extending our bursaries and assisted places scheme to ensure access for all; or investing in the programme to nurture creativity, curiosity, wellbeing and personal development in different ways.
All Friends will receive a copy of the course programme two weeks in advance of the general mailing.
From time to time there will be opportunities to take part in special Friends-only events and keep updated with our ambitious plans for the future.
