The second in our series of art study days exploring concepts and ideas that shape the world we live in through the lens of art history. In this day course, we will explore visibility and invisibility in art. What are we shown, and what can’t we see? Who tells the stories? Whose stories are told? Why? Join us as we explore the gaps and absences in art and visual culture, from history paintings to museum collections, the Western canon to media algorithms. Friendly and engaging, these sessions are all about broadening knowledge, being curious and exploring different ways of seeing life through art.
