Elizabeth Dodd studied viol and early dance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She played and danced with a number of early music groups in London before moving North in 1986. She now performs and teaches all over the North of England. She has many years experience of teaching on summer schools; North West Early Music Forum, Norvis and Higham Hall as well as weekend courses at the much missed Alston Hall and currently at Higham Hall.

"So glad to have Higham willing to run courses like this."
"An excellent day. It was challenging and intriguing to partake in the dances, and experience the effect of costume and culture on the dance. Thank you too for all the incidental but valuable background information. Though sadly no longer able to dance as in younger years, I thoroughly enjoyed participating and learning so much."
