AGEING DAY FOR WOMEN
October 19th at 10:00 to 16:00
This AGEING Day for women offers an introduction to individuation analytical psychologist Carl Jung, who believed that our human lived experience (conscious experience) represents a relatively small part of our total psychological functioning. In reality, much of our experience, and many determinants of our behaviour, exist outside our awareness i.e. our unconscious. We will explore how the menopause relates to Jung’s mid-life concept: through the map of the psyche; personal and collective unconscious; concept of libido; archetypes; the ‘shadow’ and the process of individuation.
