This is a practical painting course exploring the genre of interior painting. The domestic interior has long been a rich source of material for artists. It is possible to evoke emotions, convey social commentary and even explore psychological themes through the formal choices made when portraying interior spaces and the objects inside. Join Ceri working in the wonderful interiors of Higham Hall itself – with inspiration from great ‘interior’ painters such as Bonnard, Vuillard, Hammershoi and many others.
