FIRED ENAMEL PAINTINGS ON PANELS – PICTORIAL LANDSCAPE, SEASCAPE, FLORAL OR ABSTRACT

Enamel painting can be done on copper, silver or steel. Students will learn how to paint and fire enamel onto panels ranging in size from one- to 4-inch square in their chosen subject of landscape, seascape, floral or abstract. We will go over good kiln practice, firing temperatures according to colour used, and correct visual context. Modern techniques such as sponge painting and overlay will be covered alongside traditional techniques. All materials for this course will be provided at cost.
