Enjoy making music with others in our late-starters mini-orchestra, for instruments in the key of C (i.e. flute, oboe, bassoon and bowed strings – sorry, no clarinets or saxophones). Music will be arrangements of light classical and traditional pieces, with relatively straightforward parts in terms of key and note range. The weekend is aimed primarily at players of Grade 1 – 4 standard, although slightly more demanding music can be provided for anyone who would like a challenge.
Whether you are new to playing with others, have recently dusted off an instrument that’s been languishing in the attic, or are just looking for an opportunity to consolidate your skills in a friendly, supportive environment, why not come and play your part?
