This course will take a different slant, unveiling a series of classical works inspired by, and dedicated to, a particular person. This may be another composer, a great performer (pianist, violinist, singer, conductor) or a romantic connection. A wide historical range will be covered, from the 16th to 20th centuries, and a wealth of beautiful music.
