Nature and journaling are both great for promoting wellbeing, so combine the two in the relaxing and nurturing environment of Higham. This nonjudgmental course helps you to develop your own style of journaling; how you wish to combine words and art. There will be a focus on promoting good mental health, but also on having a rewarding time, and producing a journal to be proud of. Start a record of your time with nature; ‘attention, engagement, and celebrate’ the world around us. The skills that you will learn could be used equally in a travel or garden journal, or similar. The tutor has an extensive resource of books, including examples of Nature Journals, ‘how to books’ and ID guides to inspire your journey. Beginners and those who believe that they are ‘no good’ at art are very welcome. A blank journal is provided please bring your own watercolours, watercolour pencils, or coloured pencils.
