Nature and journaling are both great for promoting wellbeing, so combine the two in the relaxing and nurturing environment of Higham. This supportive and nonjudgmental course helps you to develop your own style of journaling, exploring different ways to combine words and art. There will be a focus on promoting good mental health, but also on having a rewarding time, and producing a journal to be proud of. Start recording your time with nature around ‘attention, engagement and celebration’ of the world around us. The skills that you will learn can be used to create meaningful journals on any theme. The tutor brings an extensive collection of inspiring books and resources to support your journey. Beginners and those who believe that they are ‘no good’ at art are very welcome. A blank journal is provided. Please bring your own watercolours, watercolour pencils, or coloured pencils.
