Shadows and reflections can add so much more interest, colour and depth to our paintings. With inspiration from masters of shadow – from Hammershoi to Morandi to Warhol and contemporary artists we will create shadows and study reflected light in still life set ups and the interior space of the studio. We will explore the emotional tenor of dark spaces incorporating both drawing and painting.
