Chris formally worked for Barnsley Music Service as Curriculum Development Officer and is now a freelance performer, musician and instrumental teacher. As well as being founder and organiser of the Rafters Ukulele Club, Uke Power Festival and MD for the Penistone Folk Ensemble. You can often see Chris at summer schools, residential courses and venues all over the UK. He is one half of the entertaining multi instrumental comedy duo McShane & Shaw.
