Geoff & Fran Doel – (History & Literature)
- experienced and widely-published historians from Kent and Edinburgh
- Fran has an MA in Medieval Studies from UEA and was formerly an Associate Lecturer at University of Canterbury and Birkbeck College
- Geoff has a literary PhD and is an Associate Lecturer for the University of Kent and The University of Christ Church Canterbury and has appeared on Time Team
- Together, they have published 14 books, several on medieval topics, and run Summer Schools for The University of Durham
