Mixed media artist based in North Yorkshire near to the Howardian Hills
Was a contestant on Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year 2022
Look closer, you will be amazed at how Justine creates her 'pictures'!
"I work predominantly in textiles and found objects but enjoy experimenting with a range of mixed media. My work is influenced by my local environment and the nature that surrounds us. My work is often mistaken for paintings but look closely and you will discover my main canvas is vintage ties." J.W.
We were drawn to Justine's courses by her exquisite work which, as she says above, often gets mistaken for paintings - but is textile-based. For artists wishing to experiment with textiles in their multimedia projects, or textilers wishing to expand their horizons artistically, we can't recommend Justine highly enough.

"Fabulous course, would attend again if a trees or seascape is on. Loved it.
Thank you."
"Very generous tutor - in terms of time, information and materials. Very knowledgeable. Would certainly go on another curse run by Justine Warner. Good positive summing up session at the end. Good time management throughout."
"Well-organised structured course. Excellent tutor. Very enjoyable. I would love to come to Higham Hall again for a follow-on course to this with Justine Warner."
"Lots of fun and hard work. Justine was infromative and helpful and taught and showed us so much.
Please can we have a follow-up course?"
"Really was a great course. I feel like we were all taught the skills to progress with the course project but also to start projects at home. I feel that there is so much more to learn from Justine. Is there a follow-on course in the pipeline? Such a lovely lady and very talented. We have all been looked after so well on all fronts. Thank you."
"Had a great time, would love a follow-up course.
