Rosie Calvert and Will Finn

Rosie Calvert and Will Finn are a folk musical duo from the north east of England. Graduates of the Folk and Traditional Music BA at Newcastle University, they have been performing all over the UK for the past 10 years, taking the festival circuit by storm with their a cappella harmonies and haunting compositions. Their debut album Beneath this Place (2018) was critically lauded as 'distinctive' and 'excellent.'  Their second album, Fallow Alchemy (2025) has been described as 'a varied and engaging stream of a cappella tracks and cleverly-crafted ensemble pieces.'

Their workshops offer a gentle introduction to folk song - a genre rooted in tradition and less formal than notated music. No experience of music reading is necessary - folk music allows one to develop a musical ear and to enjoy singing with other people without any prior musical education.
