Dr Campbell Price (Egyptology)

May 20th at 20:27

  • Curator of Egypt and the Sudan, The Manchester Museum, The University of Manchester
  • BA, MA and PhD in Egyptology at The University of Liverpool, where he is now an Honorary Research Fellow
  • has participated in fieldwork at Zawiyet Umm el-Rakham and Saqqara.
  • has published widely on ancient Egyptian material culture, most recently Pocket Museum: Ancient Egypt (Thames and Hudson, 2017)
  • has lectured throughout the UK, and around Europe, and made appearances on TV and radio.

We are very happy to re-introduce Ancient Egypt back into our curriculum and thrilled to have the services of one of the UK’s foremost active experts. It all happened a long time ago, but the remarkable physical evidence that still exists somehow brings it all alive once more!
