Accomplished figurative and wildlife Sculptor from Norfolk, who takes her inspiration from myth and folklore of the British Isles, exhibits nationally and internationally. Has 25+ years’ experience as a fine arts practitioner, coupled with an MA in Fine Art Curation and encourages an intuitive approach in students, inviting them to play with the clay and explore its properties and potential.Clay is an amazing medium that can become anything you want it to be! This course will encourage you to see with your ‘inner eye’ and create a figure or bust around 30 cm high, inspired by your imagination. No previous experience of life sculpting necessary, although a rudimentary understanding of human anatomy would be helpful, but not essential. More important is a willingness to let the clay take you on a journey of discovery…
