ARTISTS’ GARDENS
June 17th at 18:30 to June 20th at 09:00

Join our horticultural expert Louise and resident art historian Lizzie on this special course looking at artists’ gardens. Over 2 full days we will visit a diverse selection of gardens in Cumbria and the Scottish Borders, from John Ruskin’s garden at Brantwood and the garden at Lawson Park created by artist and filmmaker Karen Guthrie to Charles Jencks’ Crawick Multiverse and what is regarded as Ian Hamilton Finlay’s greatest artwork, his garden at Little Sparta. In the evenings we will explore the subject further through presentations and discussion.
