As a style the spring back is firmly rooted in the ‘trade’ binding tradition; it’s robustness and ability to lie flat and open for extended periods of time make it ideal for guest books, lectern bibles, home accounts, etc. On this course we will be making a leather or suede quarter bound model with vellum tips and decorative paper sidings.
