BRITISH BMG FEDERATION SUMMER SCHOOL WEEKEND 2024
June 14th at 18:30 to June 16th at 13:30
We welcome the British Banjo, Mandolin and Guitar Federation to Higham for the first time with three separate courses: Chris Sands’ Finger-style 5-string Banjo; Roland Gallery’s Art of Playing in Ensemble for mandolin family instruments and guitar (including bass), and Nigel Gatherer’s Old Time Music for all instruments and levels of experience. Music reading and playing experience is required for banjo and Ensemble courses. Prospective players who haven’t previously attended a BMG Federation summer school should contact Sandra Woodruff sandrawoodruff1947@gmail.com before enrolling to ascertain level, instrument(s) and suitability. The weekend ends with an informal concert followed by afternoon tea & cake on Sunday afternoon.
