GET TO KNOW YOUR POLLINATORS: BEES, BUTTERFLIES AND OTHER INSECT HEROS

July 17th at 17:00 to July 19th at 13:30

Pollinators are vital to the survival of the human race. Plants depend on pollinators for the production of their seeds, which provide us with 1 in 3 mouthfuls of the food we eat. Through practical activities and presentations from entomologists and other experts, you will learn about the life cycles and habitats of a variety of pollinators, the threats to their survival and how you can support them by creating conditions in which they can thrive. The programme has been developed by Cumbria Beekeepers Association (www.cbka.org.uk).
