This is an experimental creative course aimed at anyone interested in the relationship between words and images. Making the most of the long nights at this time of year, we will explore how we see differently in the dark, using experimental techniques to draw images out of darkness and find texts which shine a light on what we discover there. In reflective practical sessions we’ll use words and painting to think about how moonlight, twilight, half-light and gloaming alter perspectives and open up the imagination.
