PHILOSOPHY AND FILM
September 28th at 18:30 to October 1st at 13:30

In this course, we explore themes of morality, ethics, and humanity’s connection to the natural world through four significant films. We begin with 12 Angry Men, where jurors grapple with justice, paired with The Lives of Others, an examination of surveillance and empathy in an oppressive regime. We then delve into Into the Wild, a journey of self-discovery in the wilderness, alongside The Thin Red Line, juxtaposing nature’s beauty with the brutality of war. Join us to discuss and reflect on essential questions of ethics and existence through cinematic art.
