Qualifications in geography, geology and teaching, early retired from Secondary teaching [Head of Department, Head of House and Assistant Head teacher]. Chris is the Chairman of Cumbria Butterfly Conservation, Chair of Lancashire Butterfly Conservation, Arnside and Silverdale Nat. Hist. Soc., Programme secretary of Kendal NHSoc as well as a Trustee of the national body of Butterfly Conservation. Gives numerous power point presentations in Northern England and Scotland and regularly organises and lead both residential and day field trips for butterflies and wildlife. Also happens to be a magician!
