Sharon works as a restorer working for the London art trade as a teacher of enamelling from her home studio in the Fens, Cambridgeshire. She teaches fired enamel bowls and beads and all forms of decoration within this craft. "As an enameller I like to experiment with colours and different types of enamel to produce new interesting effects as well as traditional skills to obtain the best results or what ever the project may be. Initially I was a student at Rush Green Art College and then later in my working my life trained as an enameller, eventually moving to where I now in a rural setting mainly for inspiration and a larger studio. The increased space has allowed me to work with large enamel bowls where there is scope for interesting shapes and styles. As a teacher now at Higham Hall I can pass on this knowledge."
