This jewellery course is aimed at beginners, but more experienced
students are very welcome (but please let the tutor know if you will
not be doing the set projects). Students will work on three step by
step projects, but everyone will put their own ideas into their jewellery
so each piece will be very individual. Students will cover techniques
including saw piercing, doming, texturing using a rolling mill, hammers,
punches etc plus soldering, forming and finishing. This is a very handson, intensive course and students should feel comfortable learning how
to use soldering torches and hand tools/hammers etc.
