Angie is an experienced embroider in traditional hand embroidery techniques. She used to teach City and Guilds hand and machine embroidery in Lancashire. But once she took over Calico Gardens from the late Irene Coulthard who used to teach at Higham Hall and wrote the only Calico Gardens book up to date ,she realised her love for traditional hand embroidery and now teaches around the North West with her main tutoring being at Higham Hall.
