At Higham, many activities support personal development, but some, we feel, need to explicitly address aspects of life. These include physical, emotional and mental well-being - which should be guided by proper, professionally-trained and genuinely-qualified experts.
Lina (who sometimes works with her other half Richard Broadley), is a qualified professional with the knowledge and skills to offer guidance through some of life's challenges.
Underpinning our educational bias, Higham seeks to offer genuine opportunities for individuals to learn about themselves on a practical and informed way, without being over-academic. Lina's specialism and sympathy with female issues especially is intentionally valuable as an addition to our broadening Curriculum, providing an offering that is both useful and relevant to the Students who can come to Higham.
Needless to say, everything is confidential, professionally-managed and respectful of individual sensitivities.
NEW FOR 2021: Make Sense of Being Human: Lina Mookerjee presents four separate, standalone Days: BEHAVIOUR, GROWTH, AGEING and ENERGIES.
Our aim is to support you in your understanding of life, so that you have a better chance of keeping control of your health and wellbeing as you get older. The professional approach will enable you to be proactive in addressing the different stages you will likely be faced with in an intelligent and informed way.
Lina's input to the Higham community is very much deliberately touching upon a mixture of the physical, mental, emotional and even spiritual - all elements that contribute to our pathway through life and its different challenges.
Underneath it all, is a commitment from Higham to offer a range of courses that are especially relevant to the real lives of our community of learners. This is something we take very seriously.
