MAKING SENSE OF MID-LIFE, MENOPAUSE AND THE AGEING PROCESS

January 25th at 10:00 to 16:00

Lina Mookerjee

This AGEING Day offers an introduction to Individuation Analytical
psychologist Carl Jung believed that our human lived experience
(conscious experience) represents a relatively small part of our total
psychological functioning. In reality, much of our experience, and
many determinants of our behaviour, exist outside our awareness
i.e. our unconscious. We will explore Lina’s theory about menopause
and how it relates to Jung’s mid-life concept; through the map of
the psyche; personal and collective unconscious; concept of libido;
Archetypes; The Shadow; Individuation process.
